24-Hour HAZMAT

This 24 hour class is designed to meet the non site-specific Technician level training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(q). The class will conclude with a simulated HAZMAT response drill.

Some of the topics covered include:

• PPE Selection and Application
• Techniques for Monitoring
• Techniques for Advanced Confinement and Containment
• The Incident Command System
• The First Responder Technician Level Role

The course is taught 7am to 4pm.
